Aʻala products are made by hand with the utmost care.  We do our best to ship products within a day using the US Postal Service. 

U S   S H I P P I N G 

Items ordered and paid for will ship within 1-3 business days (excludes weekends and holidays) unless otherwise noted in the description of the product. We primarily ship through USPS.  After leaving our facility, USPS typically delivers within 3-5 business days for standard shipping. You will receive an email notification from us that contains tracking information once your order has been shipped. Some items may ship in separate boxes, but will not require additional shipping charges. 

Once the package has left Aʻala and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for delivery delays due to inclement weather, if a package is not able to be delivered due to address errors, or other unforeseen shipping courier related delays.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship outside the United States at this time.

O R D E R   C A N C E L L A T I O N S

We at Aʻala work hard to help you get your orders as quickly as possible. So as soon as the payment is accepted and the order is confirmed, it is immediately in the process to be shipped. This, unfortunately, means NO changes can be made to your order once it is placed. 

O R D E R   I S S U E S

If you have any problems with your order (not received, not what you were expecting, etc.) PLEASE contact us so that we can make it right. We truly want to please our customers and will always try our hardest to resolve any situations that come up.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at so we are able to assist you and resolve the issue. We will happily replace any damaged items, however, a photograph as proof of the damage/defect is required. If an item is missing from your order, please provide a photo of everything you received, as well as the packaging. We ask that you please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package if an item is missing from your order. With photographic proof, you do not need to go through the return process in order to receive a replacement or a refund. At this time, we are not able to refund items that arrive damaged.

In the unlikely event that a package marked as delivered is missing, we are happy to send a replacement once. Please wait 3 business days before reaching out to us. We recommend also contacting your building manager, front desk, or neighbor to assist with locating the package.

Please keep in mind that the products you are buying are handmade and 100% natural so some variation from batch to batch is normal (slight changes in color for example). This does not have an effect on the product’s efficacy and is safe to use for the duration of their shelf-life.

Our current office hours are 10am-6pm HST five days a week, excluding major holidays.


Due to the artisan craftsmanship and the intimate nature of our products we do not offer exchanges or returns for the reasons of general dissatisfaction, and/or on used products. Please email us prior to ordering to discuss your skin’s needs and beauty ritual if you have questions.

Damaged Shipments

When your order arrives, please inspect the package for any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process. It is normal for the outer package to show some wear and tear; however, if there is damage to the item(s) in your shipment, please notify us within seven days and we will take care of you. Please include your order number in the email, and retain the shipping box, packaging materials and damaged items. No returns/refunds will be granted following the seven days after delivery. Contact the carrier to file a complaint regarding the damaged package.

A`ala Bioactives does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to A`ala Bioactives. 

Please note: We will not be able to refund the shipping cost for returns as it is directly paid to our providers.

Orders are subject to sales tax in the following states: Hawaiʻi. These may change without notice depending on regulations. Taxes are calculated based on the physical presence Aʻala holds in this state.

All prices are in USD. At this time, we are unable to ship to outside the United States.
